Community Activities
To mark VE Day, we created a commemorative window display here at Michael Gamble Funeral Directors in Stonehouse, honouring the courage and sacrifice of those who served during World War II.
The VE Day flag was proudly raised this morning at the memorial green in town, alongside the local memorial — a quiet yet powerful reminder of the day peace was declared in Europe.
It was a privilege to take part in this moment of remembrance and reflection with the wider Stonehouse community.
