Funeral Director Alison Edwards has been accepted as a volunteer and befriender with Sunflowers Suicide Support, a local charity, based in Stonehouse.
Sunflowers are a registered charity offering support for people who have been bereaved by suicide. Alison completed an eight-week Grief Recovery Course which has also been helpful in her role as a Funeral Director.
Alison will now go on to complete their ASIST training (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) which is a two- day course.
